Itinerary
Day 1
Delhi to Leh • Acclimatize + Leh Bazaar
Fly to Leh (spectacular views of Himalayan ranges). On arrival transfer to hotel; rest to acclimatize (Leh altitude ~3550 m). Later visit Leh Bazaar. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2
Leh Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Leh Palace, Shankar Gompa and Shanti Stupa; time at Leh Bazaar for photographs. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 3
Shey • Thiksey • Hemis Monasteries
Visit Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries (Buddha statue at Shey; panoramic Indus Valley from Thiksey; Hemis monastery collections). Also visit a Ladakhi family. Return to Leh. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Drive over Khardung La Pass to Nubra Valley. Visit Samtangling Gompa at Sumur; optional double-hump (Bactrian) camel ride at Hunder. Dinner and overnight in camp.
Day 5
Nubra to Leh
Visit Diskit village (bazaar and gompa) and Hunder area; return to Leh over Khardung La. Later visit Tibetan market/Leh bazaar for souvenirs. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6
Pangong Lake Day Trip
Early breakfast; depart around 6 am for Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. Halt at Tsoltak (summer pastureland). Enjoy Pangong’s views and colors; return to Leh by afternoon; shopping time at Tibetan Market. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7
Departure
After breakfast transfer to Leh airport for onward journey.
